On the left side wall are wedding pictures of Matthew and Hannah and Joanna and Lee. (Matthew and Joanna are our two youngest children.)
My real home's den is decorated Texas style, so some of the decorations in this room mimic the Texas theme. They both had (at the time of these pictures) a cow hide for a rug, western pillows, a cactus on the mantel, a bluebonnet picture over the fireplace, a gun in the corner, a blue leather sofa, and a brown leather chair and ottoman.
There is a Bible on the coffee table next to the cat getting into the fish bowl. Photo album and scrapbook are on the mantel. The grandfather clock really works, but I keep it on Central Standard Time all year long.
One of the pillows has a picture of my Price grandparents at the State Fair of Texas in 1915. (I have a full size pillow withthe same picture on my real sofa.) I entered this pillow in the Fair in 2000 (Celebrating the Century) and won a 2nd place ribbon.
The dog reminds me my childhood dogs. I want a Beagle, but Bob says “No”). The two cats are in memory of our cat named Honey. The fire embers light up. — Becky Sander-Cederlof
