In my real house, my sewing room is the hub of most of my activity. So this sewing room represents some of my hobbies and interests. The barber pole, because I cut hair. A sewing machine, ironing board, dress form, spinning wheel ( I have never actually spun yarn, but maybe some day...).
On the same wall with the armoire is a Family Tree Chart. Bob and I both enjoy doing family research.
The TV has a scene from the movie “How Green Was My Valley” set in the Rhondda Valley in Wales, where I have gone on three missions trips.
On the left side wall is a picture of me when I was 3 years old with my Tiny Tears doll. My grandmother had this picture so I think of her when I look at it.
I made a little cushion to match the wallpaper on the chest against the back wall. The chest holds keepsakes. — Becky Sander-Cederlof
