Book by Becky Sander-Cederlof
Becky created a beautiful combination coloring/song book, consisting of Texas songs of history, and hand-drawn art. She says, “I wanted a fun way to teach my grandchildren about our great state. What could be more fun than combining music and art? I have put together a song book / coloring book, with seven Texas songs and a corresponding picture for each song, for the children to sing and color.”
The songs are:
- Texas Our Texas
- The Eyes of Texas
- Deep in the Heart of Texas
- The Yellow Rose of Texas
- Beautiful Texas
- Remember the Alamo
- The Mockingbird Song
Becky drew the pictures by hand. Her brother, Lon Price, prepared the songs for printing. I (Bob Sander-Cederlof) did the page-layout using Macromedia FreeHand, and Lulu.com printed the books.
Click here for a two-page flyer about the book.
The book is for sale at some museum stores in Texas, including:
- Collin County Historical Society Museum in McKinney, Texas
- Sam Houston Statue Visitor Center in Huntsville, Texas
- Lake Jackson Historical Museum in Lake Jackson, Texas
It is also for sale online at the Lulu.com store.
